Welcome to our hotel village! The “Krone” is a small hotel village in a quiet, sunny location on the outskirts of Unterjoch (1,000-1,800 m), in the district of Bad Hindelang, away from traffic and hustle, right in the Allgäu mountains, between Oberstdorf, Lindau, Kempten, Füssen, directly on the Austrian border to the Tannheimer Valley (Tyrol).

Allgäu is a beautiful spot on earth

Bad Hindelang itself is located in Upper Allgäu and is the center of this holiday region. This place was built by the Alemanni on the sunny south slope of Hirschberg. A place that has preserved its charming character. You won't find any hustle and bustle here. Bad Hindelang is the first allergy-friendly community in the Alpine region! We offer the best quality of life and relaxation despite allergies! Due to its location in southern Germany, close to Tyrol and on the edge of the high Alps, we have many clear lakes that were formed here after the Ice Age. Here you can not only swim but also sail, surf, and visit castles or royal palaces like Neuschwanstein Castle.

Bad Hindelang lies on the Salt Road, where precious salt was once transported further towards the Lake Constance and northwards. The architecture of the houses is typically Allgäu style, with masonry foundations and sun-tanned balconies.

Our Familotel Krone Unterjoch is located in Unterjoch at an altitude of 1013 m. We lie in a high valley, and our mountain village has slowly grown over centuries. Surrounded by a rural environment and a warm and relaxed atmosphere, you will feel very comfortable here!
