Our Riding Stable

Experience exciting rides and carriage rides all year round and discover how easy it can be to learn to ride on vacation – with courses and riding lessons for everyone, regardless of your experience.

Tradition at the Riding Stable

At our riding stable, we proudly maintain the tradition of riding and horse care that has been passed down for generations.

  • Horse change station and post office around the turn of the century
  • Great-grandfather & grandfather of Angi (boss) were still postilions until 1930 in Unterjoch
  • Horse economy died out in Unterjoch in the mid-70s
  • Our children Florian and Christine are enthusiastic horse fans, as is their father Werner
  • 1989 we bought our first horse
  • Thus, the number of horses increased year by year

Carriage Rides

Both in winter and summer you can enjoy idyllic carriage rides for up to five people. Upon request, Monika, Kathi and Steffi are happy to offer you an unforgettable ride.

In winter, riding lessons are possible on the riding arena depending on snow and weather conditions. However, riding out and pony rental are possible all year round.

Our Ponies and Haflingers

Haflinger

Coco, Filia, Fantasy, Kimba and Felina are our good-natured and sure-footed mountain horses, ideal for leisure sports.

Shetty / Welsh Pony

Our Fleur and Scrabble are a robust breed with a strong build, perfect for bigger children and characterized by friendliness and light-footedness.

Cold-blooded

Zarina is our cold-blooded horse. Previously used as draft horses, they are known for their high body weight and calm temperament.

Shetland Ponies

Luna, Frizzi and Max are our Shetland ponies. Once used as mine ponies in mining, they are now ideal riding horses for children.

German Riding Ponies

Quana, Quiri and Queen Tina have a lovable appearance and lively, friendly eyes.

Otto, Fuzzy, Lucy and Roxy are our sturdy native breeds with short legs, small ears and plenty of long hair – characteristic of ponies.

  • The horse named Frizzi runs with a flowing mane on an equestrian arena.
